Spring is upon us once again!!

Well I am so so so excited that Spring is just around the corner. I feel a little more pep in my step and a new song in my heart! Oh how I have longed for the morning birds song as I wake up and prepare for my day, and the soft, calming sound of distant crickets outside my back door. OH how blessed I am to live in the country!! Thank you Lord!! I wouldn't trade a warm southern night for anything. AHH!! I sign just thinking about it.
Ok, so back to reality. It is still winter but I thought I would add some pictures on here I did back at the end of summer. I took these pictures in Bear Creek. It was such a beautiful camp ground. Nothing in this world like waking up and walking out your front door to the sunrising it the distance, across a river that is as calm and undisturbed as a newborn baby sleeping. Wow, I hope to go back there this year as soon as it is warm enough! :) Some of these are of my brother and my dad fishing and some of the scenery. :) Enjoy my friends!

Hello everyone!

I have finally got my computer back and I am excited to proceed with my photography blog. I am very excited to be sharing the picture in this blog. I LOVE this picture! I think it is amazing...(even if I did take it!) The lighting, the shapes, the ring, and most importantly...God's Word!!
I hope you enjoy this picture as well. Hopefully I will be posting more in the future, now that my computer is back up and running. I can not wait for Spring to get here! I have so many appointments lined up as soon as it gets warm!!! :)

Caytie and Brandon (Couple Shoot)

This is the first session I did with a couple. Thankfully they are close friends of mine, but that didn't stop me from being a little nervous. I believe I was most worried about taking this couple and putting into picture form the love you feel when you are around them. I wanted it to be less structured and more candid. They are a sweet and fun couple. I hope you can feel the joy and love I did while on this shoot.
These pictures were taken at one of our favorite spots off the Natchez Trace in Tennessee. It was close to sunset and in a few pictures you can see where the sun's light was shinning on the water and reflecting in their faces. This made it hard to photograph, but once on the computer I became more appreciative of the light. I thought it gave a natural glow to their already beaming faces.
I'd like to thank Caytie and Brandon for allowing me to share in their love and help preserve this time in their journey together. I hope you feel the love I did while photography this cute couple. Comments are VERY welcome. I'd like to know what feelings you get or don't get from the pictures.

Welcome!!

Hello! Welcome to my blog. I hope this is a first of many posts! I hope to use this as a photography blog for Whitney Hope Photography. I love taking pictures!! I strive to give a face to a memory that you don't want to forget. I hope that you enjoy my work. I am up for ideas, criticism, and whatever you are feeling when you look at one of my photos. I will be doing the same. I hope that you will be able to get a feel for me and my goal to bring God's beauty to picture form.
